Michael and Ashlee's high school sweetheart story is one that many can only dream of. Together they have handcrafted the life they once envisioned for themselves - high school summer days spent together living in Fuquay-Varina, Willow Springs and dreaming of a life with high aspirations. For Michael it was to take over his father’s business and for Ashlee it was to own her very own wedding venue. Michael's entrepreneurial spirit and his dream to take over his father's business eventually came true, but it wasn't until the birth of their second child in 2019 that Ashlee decided to take a daring chance of faith and team up with Michael to protect his father’s legacy. It all came full circle when Ashlee was planning the company anniversary party at Carrollock Farms in 2021 and the opportunity to make her own dreams of owning a venue a reality presented itself.

When she left the planning meeting at Carrollock, Ashlee could feel the rekindling of a passion that had been on hold. This was the same passion that had first stirred within her during high school, when she meticulously planned and coordinated weddings for family and friends. Ashlee’s keen eye for detail and talent for seeing the bigger picture lend themselves perfectly to Carrollock - where everyone's vision of their special day is crafted into reality. 

The farm is now a bustling hub of activity; it’s home to their business operations and where their kids are home schooled and have a chance to run around with the cows. Although it has been a roller coaster ride filled with unexpected turns, with Jesus at their side and support from close family and friends, Michael and Ashlee have made their high-school dreams come true.
